After install, i clicked on the windows sidebar and it dissapeared. since then i havent been able to find it, it is not minimised, and when i turn it on in controll panell it doesnt appear. however if i increase my screen resolution to max i can see the gadgets down the bottom right hand corner not attached to the sidebar, when i attach them to the side bar they dissapear totaly.
how do i get it back the way it was? -- Thanks For Coming

Right click your Taskbar > click Task Manager > Process (tab) > select the "sidebar.exe" process > click End Process. it's somewhere in the start menu. use the search function.

sorry, I should have read your full post before responding. I don't know where my mind is at today. try right-clicking the sidebar icon in the system tray, and see if you can change the options there. try setting it to be "always on top of other windows".

On the process tab cannot see sidebar.exe i need more help to find that file and correct problems
